“I am inspired by all that surrounds me and love to paint for the moment.”

We live surrounded by nature and all of creation. I am challenged to paint not only what is seen but what is felt. Bold, bright, cheerful, colorful, interesting, simplistic and complex are just a few words used to describe my artwork.  Painting is my passion and painting on large canvases makes the experience big and powerful.  I can get my whole body into it… a lot of energy goes into the art and I want to feel the paint and see it and touch it. The paint is the painting and moving it around and creating an image that grabs you and speaks to you is what I love to do.

Creating is an exploration. I am constantly trying new techniques that express the emotions that I’m feeling.  I am not afraid to add elements into the art.  Art has no limits or boundaries and this is extremely exciting to me.  Anything can be used and I love mixing up a variety of ingredients to find that awesome recipe! One that is WOW!

Like a musician’s arrangements the work is prepared for the people to enjoy.  The art I create is for everyone!  There is purpose and a message to share.  I have learned we all have choices in how we live and it is a choice to be happy and feel good about who we are and to care about those around us.  No matter what the circumstances are we can always love and care - this is what I paint.
